Adding a Folder to an AWS S3 Bucket
This guide outlines the steps to add an "inbox/" or "outbox/" folder to your AWS S3 bucket.
You will need to get the login information from 1Password. Follow the steps below:
Retrieving AWS S3 Bucket Sign-In Information from 1Password
Open 1Password
- Navigate to the 1Password website and sign in. (https://beaulieucanada.1password.com)
Access The "Developpement/Web" Vault
- Navigate to the vault called "Developpement/Web" where your AWS credentials are stored.
Find AWS S3 Credentials
- Search for the entry containing your AWS S3 bucket credentials, titled "AWS".
Copy Credentials
- Securely copy the email address and the password, ensuring not to share them with unauthorized individuals.
Adding a Folder to an Amazon s3 bucket
Log into the AWS Management Console
- Navigate to AWS Management Console and sign in.
Select a AWS service
- From the Console Home page, select "S3" service in the "Recently visited" section.
Select Your S3 Bucket
- From the list of S3 buckets, select "beaulieucanadab2b".
Search for the repository that needs the new folder
- Write in the search box the name of the repository that needs the new folder.
Create New Folder
- Inside your repository, click on the "Create folder" button.
- Enter
inboxas the folder name. - Click on 'Create folder' to confirm.
Verify Folder Creation
- The new "inbox" folder should now be visible in your bucket.
